A farmer drowned in a pond at Baimail village in Singair upazila on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Intaj Uddin, 35, son of Noya Mia of the village.
The victim’s brother Rajjab Ali said Intaj had been suffering from epilepsy since long.
Intaj slipped into water and drowned while washing old tins of his house on the bank of
the pond near his house at about 4.00pm. -UNB, Manikganj
