Hasina invites Chinese premier to visit Bangladesh

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has invited her Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang to visit Bangladesh at a convenient time.
Industries Minister Dilip Barua handed over the letter to Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee Wang Jiarui on behalf of the Bangladesh Prime Minister during a meeting in Beijing on Tuesday.
During the meeting, held at the office of CPC (Communist party of China) International Department, they discussed various bilateral issues, said an official attended the meeting. Wang Jiarui, also Vice-Chairman of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, appreciated Bangladesh’s socioeconomic development in recent years.
He mentioned that Bangladesh and China maintain an excellent relation, and the relationship will be strengthened further in the coming days.   The Bangladesh Ambassador to China and other officials were present. -UNB
