Monoranjan Ghoshal receives doctorate degree

Renowned artiste of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra during the Liberation War, Monoranjan Ghoshal has got the prestigious Ph.D. degree for contributing in the development of mutual harmony among different religious groups. Monoranjan Ghoshal is also a noted journalist, columnist and freedom fighter.
On a convocation ceremony arranged by Indian Institute of Oriental Heritage, certificate of the doctoral degree was given to Monoranjan Ghoshal at Adya Katyayani Shakti Peeth Auditorium in New Delhi on March 11, this year. Vice chancellors and more than a hundred professors of related subject from 30 different universities in India and some of the guests from abroad were present on the convocation ceremony.
Monoranjan Ghoshal is also the secretary of an organisation named ‘Inter Religion Harmony Society’, which works for creating mutual understanding among different religious beliefs. The organisation, registered with the government of Bangladesh, is also affiliated with other internationally acclaimed organisations including America’s ‘United Religions Initiative’ and South Korea’s ‘Youth Peace’. Monoranjan Ghoshal , as a secretary of the organisation, has been trying to uphold the importance of inter-religious harmony by travelling many countries of Asia, America and Europe.
