Rangpur Hajj Training and Haji Kallyan Sangstha (RHTHKS) accorded
farewell to the Hajj pilgrims at a ceremony arranged at Lalkuthi
Jam-e-Mosque in the city on Tuesday.
A discussion meeting on the rules and procedures of performing the
holy religious rituals of hajj was also arranged on the occasion, with
President of RHTHKS Alhaj Nafis Ahmed in the chair.
Senior Adviser of RHTHKS Alhaj Rafiuzzman, its Senior Vice-president
Alhaj Shafiul Harun, General Secretary Alhaj Mostak Hossain Chowdhury
Zilu, Vice-presidents Alhaj Abdul Wahab and Alhaj Aminul Islam,
executive members Alhaj Ruhul Amin, Alhaj Dr Ekramul Haque, Alhaj
Sadek Hossain Munna and Alhaj Badar Uddin were present.
A large number of male and female pilgrims, who will perform the hajj
in Saudi Arabia this year were present at the ceremony moderated by
Organising Secretary of the organisation Alhaj Mohammad Jahurul Alam.
The RHTHKS executive committee members and noted Olamaye Mashaekhs
delivered their valuable speeches on the ‘Arkan’ and ‘Ahkam’ for
performing Hajj.
They also narrated the various rules required for performing the
religious rituals of Hajj correctly.
Later, Treasurer of RHTHKS Alhaj Kwari Mahfuzur Rahman conducted a doa
mahfil seeking divine blessings of Almighty Allah for helping the
pilgrims to perform the hajj rituals correctly with sound health.
