A day labourer was slaughtered by some unidentified criminals at Ramnagar village in
Damurhuda upazila on Saturday night.
The deceased was Shahabuddin Mandal, 35, son of Billal Hossain Mandal of the village.
Family sources said Shahabuddin went missing since he went out of home on Saturday
evening to have tea in a tea stall near his home.
Local people found his slaughtered body near Ramnagar-Gopalpur road on Sunday
morning and informed police. Later, police recovered the body.
