Rajshahi – Plainclothes police in their separate drives arrested 36 leaders and activists of BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir from different parts of the city on Saturday.
Police said separate DB teams conducted the drives in Shahmakhdum, Rajpara and Matihar areas in the morning and arrested the 36.
Later, court sent 33 of them to jail. – UNB
