A man was killed and seven others were injured in a road accident on the Mohonpur-Koyra Highway in Ullapara upazila of the district on Monday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Hakim,34, son of late Kuran Ali of Harishpur village of the upazila.Witnesses said the accident took place in the area when a human hauler overturned on the highway, leaving Hakim dead on the spot and seven others injured.
