Got married barely three months back, a housewife allegedly committed suicide at Chandpur village in Jagannathpur upazila on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Joba Rani Debnath, 23, wife of Bijon Kumar Debnath of Jamargaon village in Chatak upazila.Quoting family members, police said Joba hanged herself as she came to visit her father’s house after her marriage three months ago.On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sunamganj Hospital for autopsy on Thursday morning.It was not known what actually prompted Joba to kill herself.-UNB
