A fire broke out at a cinema hall in Kaliakoir upazila on Tuesday morning.
Fire service officials said the fire originated from the second floor of ‘Sagor Cinema
Hall’ at about 6:30am and soon engulfed the entire hall.
On information, one firefighting unit rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after half an hour of frantic efforts with the help of locals.
Some furniture and machinery were burnt down by the fire.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
