Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive recovered 17 crude bombs from Natun Haat area in the district town on Thursday night.
Rab sources said being tipped off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and recovered the bombs at night.
Besides, three crude bombs exploded in three separate places, including Gohati and Tinmatha, in bordering Panchbibi upazila headquarters in the evening.
No one was injured in the blasts.
Nor was anyone arrested in connection with the recovery of the bombs. –UNB, Joypurhat
