Three people were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between two trucks at Shimantabazar in Kamarkhand upazila on Friday night.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bangabandhu West Bridge Police Station, said the accident had taken place in the area at about 9:oopm when a Dhaka-bound potato-laden truck from the northern region collided head-on with another truck coming from the opposite direction, leaving three people, including a women, killed on the spot and four others injured.
The injured were rushed to a local hospital. -UNB, Sirajganj
