A housewife allegedly committed suicide over family feud in Doarabazar Polly area under Doarabazar upazila of the district last night.
The deceased was identified as Dilara Begum, 28, mother of three children and wife of Suruj Ali of Baliura village under Narsinghapur union of the upazila.
Police said Dilara committed suicide by hanging herself in her home.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
An unnatural death case was filed with Doarabazar thana in this connection. -BSS, Sunamganj
