Police recovered 12 crude bombs in the city’s Lalmatia area on Wednesday. Sub-Inspector Komol Krishna Saha of Mohammadpur police station said local people noticed a shopping bag containing the crude bombs on the road in the area at noon and informed police. Later, police went to the spot and recovered 12 crude bombs from the bag around 12:45 pm, SI Komol said. The crude bombs were kept in a bucket full of water at the police station. Bomb disposal unit of detective branch of police will defuse the bombs Thursday, he said. No one arrested in this connection. – UNB
