BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has reopened press briefing from BNP’s central office at Nayapaltan. On Friday the very first day of his release after being interned in jails for two months he said their movement was for democracy and justice and would continue.He said that the country has now plunged from deep to deeper crisis now and can be salvaged only by restoring democracy through movement. Rizvi asserted that BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia did keep the party workers united and active through movement even though she was stopped from moving out of here residence for days.
He said their movement was just and for democracy and the people. The movement is on and would continue, he said. Rizvi thanked all those who worked for him during the period of his internment. – Staff Reporter
