A motorcycle rider was killed in a road accident in Bashtala area under Kalkini upazila of the district Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Sheikh, 17, a construction worker and son of Ayub Ali Sheikh of Ganganagar village under Mokshedpur upazila in Gopalganj district.Police said the accident occurred when a speedy bus hit a motorcycle in the area, leaving motorcycle rider Abdul dead on the spot.
A case was filed with concerned thana in this connection. -BSS, Madaripur
