A youth was electrocuted and two others injured at Kumaridanga village in Gangni upazila here on Saturday noon.
The deceased was identified as Sazzad Hossain, 30, of the village.Sazzad was electrocuted as he came in touch with a live electric wire while he was working at his house, local people said.Kausar Ali and Qamrul Islam were injured while they came to save Sazzad. Locals rescued them and sent to hospital, but Sazzad died on the way. -BSS, Meherpur
