Disguises JMB fugitives may wear

Police have released photos of possible disguises two runaway Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) militants may adopt to evade arrest.
The militants are Jahidul Islam alias Bomaru Mizan, 38, Salauddin Salehin alias Sunny, 38.
In a daring daylight ambush, miscreants had freed three convicted militants, including Mizan and Sunny, in Mymensingh on Sunday morning.
The third, Rakibul Hasan alias Hafez Mahmud, 35, however, died in an ‘encounter’ with police on Monday a day after he was re-arrested within hours of the ambush.Rakib had shaved off his beard to avoid arrest but police identified him from scars on his throat, hands and legs left by shackles.
Police have already declared Tk 500,000 as a reward for arresting each of the two on-the-run militants.
Photos of the possible disguises the fugitives could adopt have been prepared from their original photographs, the police said in a media statement on Tuesday.
Besides releasing the photos, their physical features and identification marks have been described in the release.
There is a scar below Sunny’s knee with which it is possible to identify him.
He is five feet and eight inches tall, weighs 55 kg, light-skinned with dark eyes.
Mizan has a scar on the middle finger of his left hand. He weighs five feet and seven inches, and weighs 70 kilograms. His skin is light and eyes dark.
Police say Sunny is a top-level leader of the militant outfit and served as its military wing chief.
Sunny is a death convict while Mizan is a lifer, he said.
State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal says the fugitive militants will be caught soon though their whereabouts are not yet known. – bdnews24.com
