Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested a drug peddler along with 300 bottles of Phensidyl in Ramchandrapur area of the district town on Tuesday afternoon.
The arrestee was identified as Angur Ali Sardar, son of Uzir Ali Sardar of Uttar Chapra area of Ashasuni upazila.Police said being tipped off, a team of Detective Branch of police led by Sub-inspector Hannan conducted a drive and arrested Angur Ali and recovered the drug in a pickup van in the area around 3:00pm.A case was filed in this connection. -UNB, Satkhira
