A young man was found dead at Pashchim Jamirtali village in Sadar upazila early Thursday.
Police recovered the body of Sohel, 35, son of Tofael Ahmed, a resident of the village at 3:30am.Locals spotted the body lying in a pond of one Mamin Ullah at the village at about 12:30 am and informed police.The body was sent to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.Iqbal Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said the reason behind the death could not be known yet.The deceased’s family members said he had been receiving treatment for mental illness for long. -UNB, Laxmipur
