Observing that Bangladesh has good relations with India, Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Dr Gowher Rizvi on Monday said the ties will reach a new height with the new Indian government being in place.
He came up with the remarks while talking to reporters after inaugurating a new university, RST University, at Harishpur in the district town.Dr Rizvi claimed that many unresolved issues with India were settled in the last five years due to Bangladesh’s good bilateral relations with the neighbouring country.
About India’s Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi’s speeches during his electioneering that Bangladeshis must pack up, Dr Rizvi termed that election rhetoric. – UNB
