A local leader of Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal, the lobour wing of BNP, was found dead at Boalmari village in Daudkandi upazila on Thursday morning.The deceased was identified as Mokhlesur Rahman,45, president of Boalmari union unit Sramik Dal and son of Mujibor Rahman, a resident of the same village.Family sources said Mokhlesur went out of the house on Wednesday evening and had not returned since then.Locals spotted his body lying in a crop field at the village at about 9:00 am and informed police.Later, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for an autopsy.Abu Salam Miah, officer-in-charge of Daudkandi Police Station, said the body bore several injury marks in the head.Police said he was wanted in six cases, including for murder, filed with the police station.
