Muggers wounded a man and snatched Tk 15 lakh from him at Uchhlapur in Kulaura upazila on Sunday afternoon.Victim Iqbal Ahmad, manager of Gornvelly CNG Filling Station, came under an attack by a gang of armed muggers while he was carrying the money of the filling station to deposit it to a nearby bank.Witnesses said the hoodlums riding three motorcycles came to the area intercepted him while he was going to the bank to deposit the money around 2:00 pm.The muggers beat him indiscriminately, snatched the said amount and fled the scene.Later, he was admitted to Kulaura Health Complex.Amal Kumar Dhar, officer-in-charge of Kulaura Police Station, confirmed the incident. -UNB, Moulvibazar
