7 girls rescued at Benapole while being trafficked to India

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) rescued seven teenage girls while they were being trafficked to India through Putkhali border point in Jessore on Saturday.

Tipped off, a team of BGB launched a drive in the border area and rescued the seven girls at night, said BGB-23 camp commander Abdul Haque.

 

Later, the girls were handed over to Benapole port police.

 

A case was filed.
