Police recovered the body of a minor boy, who had been abducted on Saturday, at Birab in Rupganj upazila on Tuesday night.The deceased was identified as Sadman Apon, 5, son of Jahidul Islam, a resident of Birab.Officer-in-charge of Rupganj Police Station Mahmudul Islam said Jahidul had long been at loggerheads with Abu Naser, Masud and Abul Bashar of the same area over sharing of money from land sale.Following the feud, Naser, Masud and Bashar along with their men abducted Jahid’s son Sadman on Saturday last and demanded a ransom of Tk30 lakh from Sadman’s family.Jahid filed an abduction case with Rupganj Police Station on Tuesday.Later a team of police in a drive arrested Abul Bashar, 37, her wife Mahmuda Akter, 30, and Masud,28.Following their confession, police dug up the body of Sadman from a place at Birab around 11.00pm.Sadman was strangulated to death, said police.UNB, Narayanganj
