Renowned actor Zahid Hasan recently signed an Indian film named “Sitara,” a production of Kolkata which will later be released in Telegu version.
The actor told the press that the film is based on “Bhorer Proshuti” novel written by Abul Bashar, a famous author of West Bengal. The film will be directed by Ashish Ray.
Zahid said he read both the novel and the script and he liked them.
The filmmakers contacted Zahid two months ago. Zahid was provided with the script after the preliminary contact. Later, the actor signed the film.
Zahid Hasan will be playing a character called ‘Dilu’ in the film.
He told the press that the production of the film will start in January 2018. The shooting will take place in India, near Dinajpur border.
