Today is the International Al-Quds Day. The day is observed annually on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan globally, expressing solidarity with the holy mosque Al-Aqsa, located in Jerusalem. In observance of the day, the ‘Bangladesh Al-Quds Committee’ will arrange a seminar today on ‘Al-Quds & Palestine: Present Obstacles’ at the Supreme Court Bar Association Auditorium from 11:00 a.m. Ex-VC of Dhaka University, Prof. S. M. Fayej will be the chief guest. Ambassador of Iran Mr. Hossain Aminian Tuusi, diplomats from Palestine, Moulana Zafarullah Khan, DU Prof. Dr. Shah Kausar Mustafa Ansari will be present in the meeting among others.
