Anas Incharge Ruhel, Shamima Co-Incharges of JU BNCC

Savar (Dhaka) May 10 – Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC), Jahangirnagar University (JU) Platoons, got a new leadership on Wednesday.
Cadet Sergeant Md. Anas Uddin, a 3 rd year student of Geography and Environment department, was made the Cadet Incharge of JU BNCC Platoons while Cadet Sergeant Md. Ruhel Uddin and Cadet
Sergeant Shamima Akther were made Co-Incharges of male and female platoons respectively.
Teacher Incharge of JU BNCC PUO A.S.M. Firoz-Ul- Hassan came up with the announcement at a
Freshers’ Reception and Farewell ceremony, held at the seminar room of Zahir Rayhan Auditorium
Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, the 46 th batch cadets were welcomed and the 43 rd batch cadets were awarded farewell.
Presided over by Teacher Incharge of JU BNCC PUO A.S.M. Firoz-Ul- Hassan, Treasurer of the university Prof Sheikh Monzurul Huq, as the chief guest, former Pro-Vice Chancellor Farhad Hossain, Director of JU TSC Prof Bashir Ahmed, JU Proctor Assoc. Prof Sikder Md. Zulkernine and Asst. Teacher Incharge PUO Taslin Jahan Mou were present as the special guests among others.
Mentionable, Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) is a tri-Service voluntary organisation comprising the Army, Navy and Air wings. It works with the defence Services Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs), civilian officers, staffs and cadets of different colleges and universities. – JU Correspondent
