An angry mob set to afire to a passenger bus as a minor boy was crushed under its wheels on Mirpur Road near science laboratory in the city on Wednesday. The ill-fitted child was known as Fahim, 10.
Contacted, the Officer-in-charge of Dhanmondi police station Nur-e-Azam Miah said the accident occures in front of Anwar Khan Medical College Hospital near the Science Laboratory when Fahim and his mother was getting down from a passanger bus at about 1:45 pm.Suddenly, another passenger bus from rear hit Fahim and he died on the spot, the OC said. Local people set afire the passenger bus heading towards Azimpur from Gazipur.
Being informed, two unit of firefighter units went to the spot and doused the flame.
Sub-inspector Mehedi of Dhanmondi police station said they detained the driver of the killer bus along with the vehicle in connection with the incident. – News Desk
