Animated film on climate change,future generation

Now an animated production has been made for children addressing climate change. Titled “Tomorrow” the production, a short film of twenty minutes will be released on Deepto TV next year. Mohammad Shihab Uddin has directed the film. Trailer of the film has already been released. In the film there is a boy named Ratul, who is not concerned about nature and rather prefers modern facilities like video games. But then suddenly a supernatural being appears before him to illuminate his understanding of the world. This in turn starts a new journey of expanding insights for Ratul.
Mohammad Shihab Uddin is hoping that the film will be released by March next year. He said that nearly a year ago Deepto TV approached him with a proposal to highlight how the future generation will be affected by climate change. Seventy percent of the production works have already been completed. Mohammad Shihab Uddin has already set his marks in animated productions. He has worked in the “Meena” series. His own production “Shahana” a TV series has already started. The 2D series is a project of UNFPA and addresses early pregnancy, child marriage and other forms of discrimination against young girls in rural areas.
With the advent of modern technology, animation is starting to enter the creative industry. A series featuring the traditional folk lores for children has already started making it the first animated series of Bangladesh. It is being aired on Nagorik TV.
