Unidentified miscreants vandalised a Shaheed Minar on the compound of Mahendrapur High School in Kurmarkhali upazila early Friday, a day after damaging another Shaheed Minar in the same upazila.Police and locals said a gang of miscreants attacked the Shaheed Minar on the Mahendrapur High School compound at the dead of night and damaged its pillars.Earlier, a group of masked miscreants vandalised the Shaheed Minar on the compound of Jaduboyra High School in the small hours on Thursday.
Locals blamed Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir for the vandalism. -UNB
