Recently I watched and listen to a musical program aired by ETV in its ‘Phono Live Studio Concert” series. Sheikh Jasim presented some really melodious songs in the program for which he deserves appreciation. I liked his presentation of a popular Hindi number “Aaoge jab tum o saajana Angana phool khilenge, Barsega saawan jhoom jhoomke…” a very outstanding musical composition by Pritam Chakraborty, Sandesh Shandilya, lyric by Irshad Kamil and sung by Ustad Rashid Khan from the movie ‘Jab We Met’.
