Detective Branch (DB) of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) recovered arms, ammunition, drugs and its using materials from the office room of Red Crescent Society of Govt Azam Khan Commerce College here last night.Acting on a tip-off, a special team of DB police raided at the Red Crescent’s office room of the college in presence of executive magistrate Depok Kumar Roy and teachers of the college at around 11.30 pm, said Ziauddin, assistant commissioner of DB of KMP.They recovered one rifle, one foreign-made 7.65 mm pistol, 12 rounds of bullets, a magazine, a pistol cover, three machetes, liquid phensidyl, seven empty phensidyl bottles, using materials of Yaba and heroine, cigarettes and lighter from an almirah of the office room.The recovered materials, including arms and ammunition, were handed over to Khulna Kotwali Police Station.A case was filed with the police station in this regard. -BSS, Khulna
