Narail Sadar thana police recovered a foreign made pistol, one round
bullet, a shutter gun, four round bullets of it and arrested three
youngmen in this connection from Dighalia village under sadar upazila
of the district on Sunday June 16.
The arrestees were identified as Arif Munshi, 28, son of Lal Mia
Munshi, Sufian Sheikh, 30, son of Ayenuddin Sheikh and Likhon Mollah,
34, son of Abdus Sabur Mollah all from Chorkhali village under
Naragati thana of the district.
Rafikul Islam, OC of sadar thana confirmed the matter and said that
acting on a secret information police encircled a battle nut orchard
of Dighalia village and arrested the three with the arms and bullets.
A case has been filed in this connection with sadar thana, he
informed.
