Artist Sven Sachsalber looks for needle in haystack

Jean de Loisy, Palais de Tokyo director: ”It is a symbol of the search we are all doing for something”Italian performance artist Sven Sachsalber is to spend the next two days trying to find a needle in a pile of hay in a Paris museum.
The needle was hidden by the director of the museum, the Palais de Tokyo contemporary art gallery.Sachsalber has done similar stunts before, such as spending 24 hours in a locked room with a cow and sawing off tree branches while perched on top.The gallery said the performance is planned to last for 48 hours.But the search for the needle could continue for longer, it added.The gallery describes Sachsalber’s work as “often funny, often serious and sometimes both.” -BBC
