Police recovered the body of a CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver from Raipara area under Rajpara police station of the city early Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Tarique Ali, 21, son of Ismail Hossain, a resident of Garir of Raninagar area of the city.Rajpara Police Station officer-in-charge ABM Rezaul Karim said locals spotted Ismail’s body lying in the lawn of a house named ‘Haji Bari’ around 3:00 am and informed police.The victim’s nephew, Tarique, said Ismail along with his vehicle went out of the house on Tuesday afternoon and since then he had remained missing.The body was sent to the morgue of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for an autopsy. -UNB, Rajshahi
