Bangabandhu Gold Cup Football will begin on November 19

Dhaka- The Bangabandhu Gold Cup International Football Tournament, the most prestigious international soccer meet of the country, named after father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will be held in the capital during November  19-29.

The decision was taken at the 17th executive committee meeting of Bangladesh Football Federation, chaired by its President Kazi Md Salahuddin at the BFF board room on Saturday.

BFF also decided to arrange women’s football league in December this year and to send Bangladesh Men’s Football Team only in the 13th South Asian (SA) Games in Nepal in December this year.

The BFF executive committee congratulated Bangladesh booters for their outstanding performances against India in the Joint Qualification of the FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023, the runners-up of the SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship 2019 Bangladesh team and the champions of UEFA U-16 Bangladesh Boys football team.
