Dhaka – The four-team Bangabandhu Shaheed Smriti Hockey Tournament, organised by Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) will begin at the Maulana Bhashani National Stadium here on Thursday (Feb 13).
The tournament will be sponsored by Walton Group. Bangladesh Army will play Bangladesh Air Force in the opening match at 1:30 pm while Bangladesh Navy will encounter Bangladesh Police at 4:30 pm in the other opening day’s match.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) Zaki Ahmed Ripon disclosed the details of the tournament at a press conference at the federation conference room on Wednesday.
BHF acting general secretary Mohammad Yousuf and tournament secretary Badrul Islam Dipu also spoke on the occasion.UNB
