Dhaka – Bangladesh Army made a flying start in the Walton Victory Day Volleyball Tournament beating Power Development Board (PDB) by straight 25-23, 25-22, 25-18 points in the opening Group B match at the Shaheed Nur Hossain National Volleyball Stadium here on Sunday.
In the day’s another match, Bangladesh Air Force defeated Bangladesh Navy by 25-22, 25-20, 19-25, 24-26, 16-24 points at the same venue.
Earlier, Senior Operative Director of Walton Group Iqbal Bin Anwar inaugurated the 12-day meet, organised by Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) while its general secretary Ashqur Rahman Miku was also present.Three more matches will be held on Monday (December 23) at the same venue.UNB
