Bangladesh Cricket League begins Sunday

The four-team franchised-based country’s first class cricket tournament — Bangladesh Cricket League — begins tomorrow (Sunday) at the BKSP in Savar.

The first two rounds of four-day match of the four-team competition will be held before the break for the Sri Lanka’s Tour of Bangladesh, the Asia Cup and the ICC World Twenty20 Bangladesh 2014 from January 22.
Defending champions Walton Central Zone will take on Islami Bank East Zone at BKSP ground-2 while BCB North Zone will face Prime Bank South Zone at BKSP ground-3 on the opening day from 9 am.
In the 2nd round matches that will begin on January 18, Walton Central Zone will play against Prime Bank South Zone at BKSP ground-3 while Islami Bank East Zone will meet BCB North Zone at BKSP ground-2.
