Bangladesh students recall Japan visit

Twenty-eight Bangladeshi students who returned from their recent 10-day visit to Japan have shared their experiences with Ambassador Masato Watanabe.The embassy said the visit was part of the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchanges for Students and Youths (JENESYS) programme that has been offered by the Japanse government since 2007.

This time, the participants visited a disaster prevention center, a waste management company, and a water reclamation centre, among others, and witnessed measures to address environmental and energy issues. They also learned about Japanese culture and society through a range of experiences, such as homestay and school visits.Ambassador Watanabe on Monday encouraged the participants to channel those experiences to their future endeavours.He said his embassy was ready to help them connect to Japan.
