Bangladesh U-19 Cricket team leaves for New Zealand Monday

Dhaka – Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket Team will leave Dhaka on Monday (Sept 23) morning for Christchurch, New Zealand to play a five-match Youth ODI series against the host team. Touring Bangladesh team will play five one-day matches on Sept 29, Oct 2, 6, 9 and 13, all at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval, Lincoln University in Christchurch.

Prior to the series, Bangladesh team will play a one warm-up match against a local team on Sept 27.Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member team for the tour to New Zealand with Akbar Ali as captain and Towhid Hridoy as vice-captain

Bangladesh U-23 team: Akbar Ali (Captain), Tawhid Hridoy (Vice-Captain), Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Mohammad Parvez Hossain Emon, Shahadat Hossain, Rakibul Hasan, Asadullah Hill Galib, Shoriful Islam, Mohammad Mrittunjoy Chowdhury Nipun, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Avishek Das, Shamim Hossain, Anik Sarker and Hasan Morad.
