For the first time in the history of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Bank in cooperation with all banks, non-bank financial institutions and mobile financial service providers is going to organize ‘Banking Fair Bangladesh 2015’ during 24-28 November, 2015 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm at Bangla Academy, Dhaka. This open Fair will offer excellent opportunities for all, including the potential banking customers, students, and the working people of the society to learn about available banking products and services in a single platform.The Fair will cover a wide array of events, including financial literacy campaign targeting vulnerable population groups, school children, and working children, seminars and debates on contemporary economic and banking issues. Every evening, there will be cultural programs to build public awareness about the ongoing financial inclusion initiatives and products, including digital financial services currently offered in the banking sector of Bangladesh. All participating institutions, including Bangladesh Bank will have stalls to showcase their products and services. The Fair will also be a great attraction for the job-seekers.
The theme of the Fair is ‘To Build a Banking Nation’ with the objectives of raising public awareness about banking products and services, and expanding financial literacy programs at the national level.
