The Bangladesh Bank on Wednesday directed the scheduled banks to keep their branches open on June 29 (Saturday) to facilitate the revenue collection.The central bank issued a circular in this regard.
The circular said the branches of all scheduled banks, including those of Bangladesh Bank, will remain open on Saturday to cash the pay orders and cheques by June 30 and facilitate the taxpayers to submit their income tax. (Source: UNB)
