Bashundhara Kings ease past bottom-placed Team BJMC 2-0

Dhaka – League leaders Bashundhara Kings further consolidated their position to clinch the 13-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football title beating bottom-placed Team BJMC by 2-0 goals at the Sheikh Kamal Stadium in Nilphamari on Sunday.

With the day’s feat, Bashundhara Kings maintained their top slot in the league with unbeaten run securing 52 points from 18 league matches, seven points ahead of the nearest rivals and holders Dhaka Abahani, which bagged 45 points from 18 matches.

Team BJMC remained at the bottom of 13-team league with their previous 8 points from 19 matches.

In day’s match, defender Nurul Nayeem Faisal opened account for hosts Bashundhara Kings in the 28th minute (1-0).
