The final match and prize giving ceremony of “Bijoy Dibosh Badminton Tournament-2016” ended at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in Mymensingh on Monday night.The tournament was organized by Bangladesh Agricultural University Journalists’ Association at Teacher Student Centre (TSC).
In final match, tournament champion “Bijoyer Shitolokkha” team by Amit Malaker of Somoy Protidin and Musfiqur Rahman Sifat of Daily Observer won against “Uttal Jamuna’’ by Md Hatem Ali of New Age and Abul Bashar Meraz Of Kalerkantho. Md Hatem Ali awarded man of the tournament.
Hamar Teesta, Brahmaputra Boys, Sorbonasha Padma are other teams of the tournament.
BAU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Ali Akbar was present at the programme as chief guest and distributed prizes among the players.
Among others, BAU Proctor Prof Dr AKM Zakir Hossain and assistant proctor Prof Dr Mohammed Al Mamun , Prof Dr Azharul Islam as special guests, assistant director of Public Relations and Publications and winning team owner Din Mohammed and campus journalists of national dailies were present on the programme.-BAU Correspondent:
