Mymensingh, Dec 16 – Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) celebrated the victory day in a befitting manner on 16 December.To mark the day, BAU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Lutful Hassan paid homage to martyrs at the liberation war monument ‘Moron Sagor’ by placing floral wreaths. After that different political, social and cultural organizations of the university paid tribute to the glorious sons of the soil by placing floral wreaths there.
Different programs were taken up for victory day by university authorities. Special prayer was held at different mosques and mandirs. Freedom fighters of the university were give felicitation and the and martyrs recalled by National day observance committee. Friendly sports competitions were also arranged by university hall authorities. – BAU Correspondent
