BAU students again block Dhaka-Mymensingh rail track

Mymensingh, April 11 – Students of the Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) blocked Dhaka-Mymensingh rail track today as a part of their movement demanding revision of quota system and protesting at the attack on a student of Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall of Dhaka University and condemning the speech of Matia Chowdhury.Students blockade Dhaka-Mymensingh rail track at 12:30 pm and no train have passed from till reporting.
BAU teachers association (BAUTA) and campus Chhatra League expressed their solidarity with the movement. They talked with the students to remove Dhaka-Mymensingh rail track blockade but agitating students did not leave the rail track.
Earlier, boycotting classes and exams, students gathered at Aamtala on the campus around 9:00am with placards and brought out a procession parading the campus chanting different slogans. – BAU Correspondent
