BAU takes control of Socialist Student Front office

Mymensingh – At least fifteen men of Socialist Students Front (SSF), the student wing of Socialist Party of Bangladesh (SPB), has been injured on Friday as the clash among two factions continue for the second day over taking control of the party office on the campus.Sources said a clash took place on Friday at around 09:00am between SSF (SPB Marxist) and SSF (SPB) and left 3 men of SSF (SPB) and 2 men of SSF (SPB Marxist) injured.
Again, another clash took place with stick, stamp at around 6 pm in front of the party office which left several activists from both party injured.
Later, Police took control of the situation at 6 pm and locked and sealed the party office.
BAU proctor Prof Dr AKM Zakir Hossain said that it is not desirable from these progressive student wings. To avoid adverse situation we took control over party office with the help of police. By discussing both student wings we will give chance for them to do fresh student politics, he said. – BAU Correspondent
