The Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) dissolved its Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) unit committee.
Confirming the matter BCL central organising secretary Mobarak Hossain said that the committee was disbanded as investigation found that the tenure expired long ago. Besides the leaders and activists of BAU BCL unit have lost confidence in the committee.It is mentionable a total 79 leaders resigned from their posts enmasse on August 3 protesting the alleged involvement of former president of the Mursheduzzamman Khan Babu and general secretary Md Saiful Islam with malpractice of politics. They also demanded the resolution of the committee.
Babu and Saiful took the charge BAU unit for 1 year on 9th May 2013. – BAU Correspondent
