The Bangladesh Bank on Sunday issued a circular directing the concerned banks to fix the highest age limit (30) while recruiting officials and employees to the banks following the government rules.The central bank circular says it has been observed in recent times that the banks while giving appointments to its new officials and employees often fix the highest age limit of the appointees on their own consideration without following the government rules.
“As a result, the social acceptance of the banks is getting affected,” the circular said. (Source: UNB)
